DESCRIPTION:Radiology\, Radiotherapy & Resection: An MDT approach to Imaging in Rectal Cancer\nOverview of the event: \nThis multi-disciplinary course integrates expertise from radiology\, clinical oncology\, and surgery to review imaging’s role in rectal cancer management. It emphasizes MDT collaboration and a shared understanding of the importance of imaging across specialties\, highlighting its impact on treatment decisions and outcomes. \nWhat to expect: \n\nDiagnosis and staging\nRadiotherapy planning\nResponse eveluation\nResection planning\nMDT workshop in imaging academy\nMDT management of rectal cancer case discussion\n\nLocation: \nJoin us onsite at The Christie Institute for Cancer\, Education Centre. Covering staging\, response assessment\, radiotherapy\, and surgical planning\, the course will be held in the Education Centre Auditorium and North West Imaging Academy\, within The Christie. The study day features interactive case-based training\, keynote speakers\, clinical debates\, and simulated MDT discussions. \nPlease note: one livestream ticket purchase is equivalent to one CPD certificate and the name on the ticket will match the one on the booking registration. Further details can be found in our T&C’s further down this page. \nVenue Information \nThe Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
