SUMMARY:SNO/ASCO CNS Metastases Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO)\, in collaboration with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)\, present this year’s SNO/ASCO CNS Metastases Conference to be held August 13-15\, 2026\, at the Westin Copley Place in Boston\, Massachusetts. The theme is From Moonshot to Groundshot: Transforming Science into Impact and the scientific content of this dynamic event includes outstanding keynote and plenary addresses on the complex and rapidly evolving area of CNS metastases.  \nThe program is interdisciplinary\, intentionally structured to connect discovery to clinical impact across the continuum of brain and leptomeningeal metastasis care. Sessions will address basic\, translational\, and clinical research defining CNS tropism and the metastatic microenvironment\, highlighting advances in multidisciplinary treatment strategies\, including precision neurosurgery\, modern radiotherapy techniques such as stereotactic radiosurgery and FLASH\, and the rational integration of systemic therapies. The agenda further examines topics which underscore the progression from scientific moonshots to ground-level changes in patient care. In addition\, the latest work shown in selected scientific abstracts will be highlighted in oral presentations and the poster networking reception. \nConference topics will include: \n·       CNS-active targeted agents and immunotherapies \n·       device-based local therapies; tumor-treating fields \n·       management of acute and long-term treatment-related toxicities \n·       patient quality of life and survivorship \n·       data-driven decision-making
