DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday 5th May for the Pathology Study Day. This event is Hybrid \n\n\n\n\nOverview \nThe Pathology Study Day will provide a basic understanding of the broad range of services provided within Pathology\, highlighting the critical role of Pathology in clinical care pathways\, and expand knowledge on emerging technologies and areas of research. \nIntended Audience \nAll users of the Pathology services. The Study Day is open to all health care professionals\, whether new to Pathology and Laboratory Medicine\, or those wanting a refresher on basic knowledge. \nWhat to expect \n\nIntroduction to Histopathology\nDiagnostic Lymphoma Practice update\nCell Therapy in Haematology\nUse of Artificial Intelligence and Biomarker Research & Innovation.\nInteractive case sessions.\n\nJoin Your Colleagues: \n\nIn-person: Education Centre\, The Christie (easy access via local transport links)\nVirtual: Participate from your workplace\nCatch-up access: 6-month replay available – perfect for busy clinical schedules\n\nAgenda \nPlease see below \nPlease note: one livestream ticket purchase is equivalent to one CPD certificate and the name on the ticket will match the one on the booking registration. Where the ‘5 for 4’ ticket option is purchased\, we will contact you directly to ask for the 5 names for the certificates. Further details can be found in our T&C’s further down this page. \nVenue Information \nThe Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
