Mr Guirish Solanki is a consultant Neurosurgeon at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Senior Lecturer to the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine at University of Birmingham, UK. He is the immediate past chair of the British Paediatric Neurosurgery group and on the executive board from the International Society of Paediatric Neurosurgery.
His main clinical and research interests are neuro-oncology, hydrocephalus, complex spine surgery. He was chair of the last SIOP-Europe Neuro-oncology course in Birmingham. He has 3400 citations for over 125 references articles and chapters. He is also an excellent teacher and trainer.
