In August 2023, NHSE announced the launch of V12.0 of the Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) Guidance. This new guidance is applicable from 01 October 2023. This is the second guidance update in 2023, with V11.1 issued April 2023. CWT V12.0 brings about seismic changes to the constitutional standards and an additional in-year target.
Greater Manchester Cancer Academy will be running a short webinar series on the new CWT to support wider understanding of what these changes mean for us as a cancer system.
