The aim of the myeloma society is to improve the care of patients with myeloma through the development and promotion of trials. The society also provides education about myeloma to healthcare professionals and patients. As myeloma is often diagnosed late, raising awareness is important in aiding early diagnosis.
The theme of this hybrid meeting is Personalised therapy for myeloma. The Michael Morley Lecture – Diagnosis and therapy of AL amyloidosis in 2023 – will be delivered by Professor Morie Gertz, Mayo Clinic.
