International Imaging Congress Event Preview: A New Paradigm for Medical Imaging

In just four weeks, London Olympia will open its doors to host the International Imaging Congress on October 31 and November 1.

The International Imaging Congress (IIC) is the tech event for the global medical imaging community.

Participants will join future-focused clinicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, and trailblazers to uncover the path to a more accurate and efficient future in healthcare.

Plus, they can get hands-on with the latest and greatest in medical imaging tech, with world-class exhibitors including Fujifilm, Neurologica, Sectra, Agito Medical, Gleamer and Teleconsult.

Dr Ram Senasi, Consultant Radiologist at Hull Royal Infirmary, and Chairman of IIC commented: “I am absolutely honoured to be chairing this congress.

“The IIC23 team have taken a fresh approach in bringing together key leaders across the industry to address issues and drive discussion around the most compelling questions we have in AI, innovation and technology.

“This will be a no-holds-barred event.”

Toby Heath of Fujifilm added: “We’re delighted to be attending the first International Imaging Congress, showcasing our full portfolio of Healthcare solutions and sharing our latest innovations across Radiography and Digital Pathology.”

Visitors will be able to shape and inspire their learning with invaluable insights and expertise from leading experts, as they share their vision for the future of medical imaging, diagnostic oncology, and digital pathology.

They will discover how cutting-edge tech and artificial intelligence are set to improve patient health, leading to personalised treatment plans and efficient workflows for clinical and technical teams. Plus, they can expand their network and engage with professionals from over 135 registered NHS Trusts and private healthcare settings.

Steve Clarke, Managing Director at ROAR B2B (IIC) added: “We’re looking to change the way conferencing is done.

“Moving away from standard plenary lectures, the event will have townhall sessions, sofa chats, point/counterpoints and fireside chats.

“It’s important to create a more human experience to break barriers and include the delegates in conversations.”

Participants can enhance their professional development with 12 hours of CPD-accredited content, ensuring they stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field.

Rockstar speakers include: Nikolay Burlutskiy – Director of AI, AstraZeneca; Dr Nick Woznitza MBE – Consultant Radiographer, UCL hospitals NHS Trust; Dr Melissa Davis – Assistant Professor, Yale University; Sir Michael Brady – Professor of Oncological Imaging, University of Oxford; Krystal Archer-Arroyo – Director of Radiology, Emory University and many more!
