More than 1,300 healthcare professionals from 113 countries learned about the latest advances in urological cancer treatments at the 2026 International Urology Cancer Summit.
The free international educational event was held in Guildford and online this month to advance science, foster professional interaction and strengthen global friendships in the genitourinary cancer space.
Since January, the IUCS website – which helps healthcare professionals to keep up with the latest developments in the management of urologic cancers – has also had more than 32,000 page views by nearly 9,000 unique users in 167 countries.
This milestone was made possible through the leadership and dedication of IUCS Chairs Giuseppe Luigi Banna and Ravindran Kanesvaran, alongside the IUCS Scientific Committee, the IUCS faculty, partners, sponsors and the IUCS Ambassadors.
Professor Giuseppe Luigi Banna, a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, said: “This year’s summit received an exceptional response from the global research community. It was a fantastic opportunity for participants to learn about the novelties in urological cancer treatments and research and gave them the chance to interact with renowned internal speakers and colleagues.
