The scientific committee of the International Urology Cancer Summit (IUCS) has announced preparations for the 2026 event have received an exceptional response from the global research community.
This year, the summit, which is free to attend, has received 90 high-quality abstract submissions, reflecting the vibrant state of clinical and translational research in genitourinary oncology.
The scientific committee is currently engaged in the rigorous peer-review and selection process. Accepted papers will be showcased across various prestigious formats: some will be featured as posters, while selected high-impact works will be published in The Oncologist. Additionally, top-tier submissions will be presented as mini-oral communications and actively promoted across IUCS’ official social media channels to ensure maximum international visibility. The three most outstanding abstracts will be recognised with dedicated awards.
Beyond the main scientific sessions, IUCS 2026 represents a unique professional development opportunity. This year’s program features an exclusive clinical research workshop in the GU oncology field, promoted by MEDSIR. This workshop is designed for a select cohort of researchers; interested participants are encouraged to submit inquiries to secure their place in this highly specialised session.

“IUCS 2026 participants will learn about the novelties in urological cancer treatments and research and have the chance to interact with the renowned international speakers and colleagues.
“In-person participants also have the opportunity to earn eight category 1 external CPD credits.”
The summit will take place on Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, in Guildford, UK, and virtually via live streaming.
