Join us for a four-day executive course taught by distinguished expert faculty, including key opinion leaders in their fields. We will explore the basic science of benign and malignant urological conditions.
This course cover the scientific basis of urology practice, including the physiology and patho-physiology of benign and malignant urological conditions. It is suitable as an introduction to the subspeciality of urology for junior trainees, but has most recently been used as a revision tool for the FRCS(Urol.) exit examination in the UK. It might also be suitable for other international board or professional examinations in urology. The course has two key objectives:
To gain a broad understanding of the scientific basis of benign and malignant urological conditions
To contextualise the relevance of physiology and pathophysiology of the urinary tract disease to clinical practice
This will be achieved through a series of face-to-face lectures by expert faculty, including key opinion leaders and FRCS(Urol.) medal winners, with pre-learning content (e.g. previous lectures, MCQs).
This course is accredited by The British Association of Urological Surgeons.
